The image from Too Many Christmas Trees reveals four facts about Steed:


1. Steed sleeps in pajamas.

2. He sleeps with the window open, even in winter. The window is opposite of his bed, and it looks like there is a second one to the left of the bed.

3. Steed smokes in the bedroom (ashtray on the right bed stand ). It also proves that Steed is still smoking in series 4.

4. Steed is reading in bed (book on the left bed table).

Steed's Edwardian bed is a large walnut double bed with a frame typical of the Louis XV style.
Its head board has obviously detailed carving of leaves and flowers to the top.
